I am an Oral Surgeon and Implantologist working in both hospital and general dental practice.
I strongly believe in a holistic approach to patient treatment whether placing an implant or extracting a tooth and this compliments our whole patient care philosophy here at Frays Dental Centre.
An extraction is often necessary not only to alleviate pain, but to maintain oral hygiene and stabilise healthy gums.
Bumps, lumps and white patches are common in the mouth and our approach involves reassurance and taking the needful measures both of which fall within my remit.
Since qualifying from Damascus University in 1996, Nizar has been working in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He spent 4 years in training posts in London NHS hospitals. He has been in his current post of a staff grade surgeon in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Northwick Park and The Hillingdon Hospitals since 2004.
He obtained the MFD from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2001.
In 2011 he gained an MSc in Dental Implantology from Warwick University.
Nizar has a young family which keeps him busy and he is also Vice President of UOSSM a registered charity providing humanitarian and medical assistance to all victims of the war in Syria and the Middle East.
