Nicolino Calabrese

“HEALTHY GUMS ARE THE ESSENTIAL FUNDATIONS OF HEALTHY TEETH”

I’m proud to have introduced at Frays Dental Centre, many years ago, a new dental treatment philosophy centred on prevention. Being a Specialist Periodontist, I firmly believe prevention is a treatment in itself, very often the best or the only treatment needed. Coupling prevention with a minimally-invasive approach to dental treatment is the way to maintain healthy mouth over time.

Nicolino Calabrese was born on 9th July 1974 in Perugia (Italy). Graduated with honour from Perugia University in July 1998. Master in Clinical Periodontology (MClinDent Perio) and European Federation of Periodontology Certificate at the Eastman Dental Institute (UCL) in 2003. Diploma of Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MPerioRCSEd) in November 2014. Enrolled in the UK’ Specialist List of Periodontists since April 2015. Associate of the Faculty of Dental Trainers of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since July 2017.

Since January 2002, Nicolino Calabrese is external Consultant Periodontist and Implantologist in private dental practices in the London’ area (UK). Since 2006, he is Clinical Director and Coordinator of NAC Dentisti, a private dental practice in Ponte Felcino (ITA), where he is responsible for periodontal and surgical treatments.

Over the past 15 years, Nicolino Calabrese has been lecturer/speaker and clinical tutor of periodontics, oral surgery and dental implants in Perugia University and in a few international congresses, meetings and courses (e.g.: UK, Portugal, Brazil and France). He has four scientific articles published in international journals listed in PubMed. Since 2011, Nicolino Calabrese is a reviewer for the Journal of Maternal and Neonatal Medicine
